Bilateral

The Trade and Payments Agreement between Nepal and China has been in operation since 1981. The agreement allowed use of number of trading points for transport of goods between the two countries. In March 2016, Nepal and China signed Transit and Transport Agreement the agreement allows Nepal to use Chinese ports to for third country trade. Besides these, in May 2010, China granted zero-tariff access to more than 8000 Nepali products.
