Nepal-USA Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) Meeting

The Sixth Council meeting on Nepal-USA Trade and Investment Framework Agreement concluded on May 19, 2023 in Kathmandu.

In the meeting the visiting council members were requested for the following

Training of Nepalese producers in Nepal by US designers, product development experts for the priority NTIS 2022 products including those products which are in the top demand in US market.
Investment in machineries and companies for producing these products in order to produce the quality standard of the US market.
The support in export promotion activities and programs by USA is very important in order to have maximum benefits from these GSP programs as well as TFTEA.

In the meeting Executive Director, Mr. Sarad Bickram Rana also participated actively.
