About Nepal Trade Information Portal

 

The Nepal Trade Information Portal is a one-stop window for information on import into, export from, and transit through Nepal. The trade portal is hosted by the Trade and Export Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies on behalf of all government agencies. The portal trade provides an accessible, logical, helpful window for traders to access important regulatory and procedural information needed to import and export.

The information portal aims to improve the transparency of the country’s trading laws and processes. This initiative is expected to promote domestic industries and boost exports as mentioned per the Trade Policy 2015. Furthermore, the portal also complies with Article 1 of the Trade Facilitation Agreement with the World Trade Organization.

The MoICS is the authority responsible to formulate and execute policies and programme related to industrial development, foreign trade and managing supplies. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB)
