Name Duration of license to produce, distribute or exhibit motion pictures
Description Section 9: (1) The Licensee shall be required to produce a feature motion picture film within Three years and other motion picture within One year from the date of obtaining the license. Provided that, if the licensee has submitted an application to the Ministry for the extension of time limit before expiry of the date of license exhibiting the reasonable ground of failing to produce the motion picture within such time limit and if the statement is found to be reasonable, the Ministry shall extend the time limit for One year in respect of a feature motion picture and up to Three months for other motion picture. (2) The validity of the license granted to distribute or exhibit motion pictures shall be Five years.
