Section 14. Sale and Distribution of Other Forest Products : (1) Any person desiring of using any Forest Products prescribed in Schedule - 6 other than the timber, firewood, acacia catechu and herbs shall have to submit an application to the Authorized Officer. (2) If an application for any Forest Product other than timber, firewood, acacia catechu and herbs has been filed pursuant to Sub-rule (1), the Authorized Officer may sell and distribute such Forest Products by collecting the fee as prescribed in Schedule -6. (3) Notwithstanding anything contained in Sub-rule (2), the Government of Nepal may sell and distribute Forest Products other than timber, firewood, acacia catechu and herbs to the person who offers the highest bid amount in an auction.
